In 2023, Marisa was the first woman to receive a coveted Jack Richardson Music Award from Fanshawe College's Music Industry Arts program (est. 1975).

 

Since, she has worked with NXNE Music Festival, JUNO winning artist TALK, ​Women In Music Canada, Folk Music Ontario, London Music Hall, Bckyrd Fest, Revelree Music Festival.

In 2026, Marisa continued her education at Fanshawe College, earning a graduate certificate with Presidents Honour Roll in Music Industry Management & Artist Development.
